I haven’t used the personal blog side of my site in a while. However, I felt that this was an important topic.
Thanks to Freebiechick over at SmartCanucks.ca, they have found an offer for a home testing kit for your children’s toys for lead content. It appears to be available to both Americans and Canadians, and it is a great idea if you are concerned about the possibility of lead in your children’s toys.

Looking to add a little liveliness to your site but may not have the resources to do? If you haven’t noticed attached to the reviews and other materials on this site the star-ratings, this is just a small portion of what JS-Kit offers for free. They offer a selection of simple-to-include Javascript add-ins for your site to add ratings, comments (Which is ran through Akismet, a comment filtering system,) polls and a combination therein. Over the next few months they plan on adding more content as well, including a ‘top-rated’ sidebox where you can have your best articles listed.

While I played on Atari and Colecovision when I was a child, my first real true console love was the NES. With this, I fell in love with the Wii when they started bringing back NES (And SNES) games. I then StumbledUpon the site of [Nintendo8] – A site with a twist on NES games; A Java emulator for being able to play them right online without having to download an emulator or the games themselves. Anyone who had a love for the classics should check this out. It’s a blast from the 8-bit past!
